Fees, Commissions and Payment of Sales - Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale - 2025

Fees and commissions:

1. An Entry Fee, of $AUD45.00 per painting in any Category - will be charged for each art work on submission to all Categories 1 to 4 and payable via the online entry system. 
2. Entry fees are not refundable, there is no selection fee charged.
3. All Finalists Artwork will be available for ‘Online Sale’ from the 17th September to 8th November 2025 - on the Australian Watercolour Muster Digital - Online Gallery - including the Artwork on Exhibition at The Court House Gallery - Cairns Australia
4. Commission of 25% per sale of a painting, will be deducted from the catalogue price of the work if sold during the Digital Gallery Sale Period - 17th September to 8th November 2025.
5. Payment of Artists will be initiated from the Gallery 247 Art Show Management Site on the notification by the Artist of the Artwork being correctly delivered to the Customer, and payment will be as per the agreed payment Schedule of Gallery 247.

** Please Note Sales of Artists Works During The Australian Watercolour Muster:

• Commission goes directly to support the Australian Watercolour Muster - Programs and Artists - covering both the Exhibition Year and the Interim 'Remote-an-Rural' Painting Year to selected locations advised each year in advance.
• No commission is paid to our Web Hosts - Gallery 247 from sales during the period of the Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale - 2025, however Artists are free to continue their association and registration with Gallery 247 to continue their promotion and sales of their Work after the 8th November 2025 and then the commission agreed with Gallery 247 will go to Gallery 247.

By submitting your works you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

General Terms:

1. For Entries in Categories 1 to 3 | You are a resident of Australia, you do not have to be of Australian nationality - only living and painting in Australia at the time of Entry.you must be prepared however to express post your Artwork to Australia on notification that you have been accepted for Exhibition and be prepare to cover your own freight and insurance costs for transport and care of your Work while it is in transit and in the care of the Australian Watercolour Muster and the Court House Gallery - Cairns.
2. For Entries in Category 4 | you can reside internationally and be of any nationality - you must be prepared however to express post your Artwork to Australia on notification that you have been accepted for Exhibition and be prepare to cover your own freight and insurance costs for transport and care of your Work while it is in transit and in the care of the Australian Watercolour Muster and the Court House Gallery - Cairns.
3. Each art work must be the original un-copied work of the exhibitor
4. Each Artwork is to be new Work of the last 2 years and
5. Each Work - Cannot have been previously Exhibited in an Exhibition in Australia or for FabrianoInAcqurello - in Italy or in any associated Exhibition in any associated country.
6. Each art work will be for sale at the price nominated by the artist on the entry form. Artist’s must remember to include 10% GST where applicable, if they live in Australia.
7. All entries must be made through the Gallery 247 on-line art and art show management system.
8. Types, numbers and sizes of art works must conform to the Acceptable Art Works section of this website.
9. All entries will undergo a Pre-Selection Process. The Organisers reserve the right to not accept a work of art for any considered reason and to limit the number of exhibits.

All Artist private information is held securely with bank details encrypted and not available to staff of Gallery 247 or The Australian Watercolour Muster. We do not share your personal information with any third party.
