Our Traditional 'Picnic and Paint' - This Year To Beautiful Port Douglas

Last AWMuster Biennale - 2023 we took our Artists and international Visitors to The Quinkan Caves!

This year we are planning a similar trip but to -

- Beautiful Port Douglas Beach -

For Plein Air Painting and a Visit to an Art Exhibition of North Queensland Artworks in Port Douglas!

This is an all inclusive Event - Transport, Morning tea and Lunch is provided!

Artist Wyn Vogel - and Curator of the Australian Watercolour Muster will let her hair down and relax for the day - although it is a Plein Air Adventure where you will be welcome to simply set up your easel and paint to your hearts content - Wyn will talk and demonstrate her style of Watercolour Work which is very loose and full of water!

• 11am - When we arrive in Port Douglas we will commence the morning with a visit to the Port Douglas Artists Inc - Exhibition of Works - and meet as many of their Artists who are able to be there to meet and discuss their Art with us - thanks to these Artists for extending this invitation to us!
• 12 noon - we will set up our Picnic - at the Port Douglas Community Centre where the Port Douglas Artists are showcasing their Artwork and we can continue to chat while we have lunch!
• 12 noon to 2.30 - time to set up and enjoy some plein air painting time, watch Artist Wyn Vogel and/or wander the local Port Douglas area - which is beautiful - to take photos for future inspiration!
• 2.30pm - BUS WILL DEPART - SHARP 2.30pm to be back into Cairns at The Court House Gallery by 4pm -

As this is our final day we will all then meet at 'The Hemmingway Brewery' at around 5pm for a last round of drinks and time to share before heading out our separate ways!
