Ticket Information:
'The Chicory Kilns' - And Phillip Island -
Abstraction through the eyes of Artist Wyn Vogel
The Chicory Kilns on Phillip Island are a unique part of the Island history - Artist Wyn Vogel loves to take the elements of a local area and explore them in colour and shape - this forms the fundamentals of her Watercolour Works!
For this Workshop - Wyn will explain her rational and exploration of the elements to take from a Landscape, to provide enough information to the Viewer - but also to enable the Viewer to feel the emotion of the moments that are wrapped in the scenery - is it the 'Old Pine Trees' - is it the 'Fragments of Old Farm Fences and Machinery' - is it just simply the 'Colours' and 'Light' - Wyn will discuss these Elements and how to make your choice to build you Painting from scratch - not to just copy the view - we will take an 'en Plein Air Bus ride a the end of the day to see some of the kilns and also to spend a small amount of time - weather permitting in person to work on some fleeting en plein air - watercolour moments ...........so you can continue your exploration of the genre on your way home 🌞 .....Artist Wyn Vogel : BOOK NOW >>>
